Mobile phones on a shelf near the door of a Sumo Wrestler restaurant in Asakusa - there was no signal near the tables. As I sat in the restaurant, people would hear their phone ring, and rise up to run over to the door and answer it, talking outside. My companion left her phone there and didn't answer it, but checked it as we left to see what e-mail had arrived.
