Beards of Fate One thing that you might notice about role-playing gamers, miniatures wargamers, and some card gamers, is that they hagve a higher proportion of beards, than say PC gamers or video game gamers. When our advertising agency went looking for a metaphor for our presence at GenCon, they decided that beards were power and we would position ourselves as the beard-power brokers.
Accordingly, we ended up with a giant beard hanging on a wall in our booth.
