happy sunshining easter! wilson and i asked our listeners to tell us where to go for dinner, i asked where we could eat rabbit, in keeping with the holiday. no one called to suggest anything.wilson was in the station until bb king. we talked about professorial wardrobes, and fielded calls from andrew marino who took offense at each of our potentially, and probably purposefully offensive things - on this day 2000 years ago jesus revealed himself to mary magdalene, "the holy ho," and our discussion of eating rabbits from on campus roasted over open flame, and andrew called up as craig williamson acting offended over our discussion of his occasional childlike manner.
balky stopped by later, just an hour landed from paris france. he was on the radio from andrew's room, and had such nice things to say about being back on campus, if only for this brief visit.
greg ingber called and argued with balky about swarthmore as virtual reality mindstate.
jolly good show! i love makin' radio! havin' friends on hand is all good!
wilson developed a taste for cibo matto - their irreverant food lyrics and their large beats. i played background techno house and jungle behind talking and between pieces. the deconstructing beck, i got from steev, was good songs that sounded like skipping beck cds. great complementary fare to the blues and jungle and jazz and all the rest of it!
